Essential Job Functions:

Devise and implement sales strategies, goals, and forecasts. Identify business opportunities through industry analysis and relationship building. Maintain effective budgetary control of sales expenses. Coordinate meetings with potential and existing customers. Investigate incoming sales leads. Participate in the development of new products and modification of existing products. Assist in the preparation of budgetary and formal quotations and proposals.  Research industry trends and potential projects. Participate in trade shows. Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, delivery schedules, etc. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Report to management by submitting activity reports.  Other functions as assigned.


Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.  Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.  Ability to build positive relationships with customers, potential customers, vendors, and coworkers.  Strong written and oral communication skills.  Ability and willingness to travel up to 40%.  Typical travel is approximately 25%.
