BROOKVILLE BREAKS GROUND TO EXPAND PRODUCTION

11/17/11

Brookville Equipment Corporation announced today that a local contractor, Allison and Associates, has been selected to begin construction of the 12,000 sq ft expansion. The stand alone building located at the 175 Evans Street location will compliment the company’s growth in new equipment manufacturing and their fleet management programs.

BROOKVILLE is installing a custom-made paint booth that features a recirculation cure cycle where air flow management will decrease dry time and recycle 80% of the air, thus reducing expenses associated with painting in northern climates.  Painting in the booth will be assisted by two 3-axis personnel lifts that run the length of the structure.  The state-of-the-art booth also boasts 30% more illumination, contamination control and best-in-class downdraft airflow.

BROOKVILLE Principles Break Ground:

The building’s work space will feature high height dual 15-ton overhead cranes, multi-gauge track, recessed work pit, and a wash bay that has environmental safeguards separating and storing the waste from the gray water. The building will accommodate equipment of all sizes and shapes; on rails or rolling on rubber tires, allowing the company to maximize the space for the highest efficiency.

Surveying and site preparation is underway with construction expected to be complete in approximately five months.  The building’s assembly on the facility’s acreage will be just one of many new items at BROOKVILLE in the coming months as its production ramps up for a busy schedule ahead in 2012.
