BROOKVILLE GEARING UP FOR FALL EVENTS IN MINING, TUNNELING, LOCOMOTIVE AND STREETCAR INDUSTRIES

09/10/15

BROOKVILLE, Pa. – Brookville Equipment Corporation (BROOKVILLE) will exhibit at four industry events, covering every business unit the company serves, including mining, tunneling, freight locomotives, and commuter locomotive and streetcar products throughout September and October of 2015.

From September 16-18, BROOKVILLE will exhibit its mining products and services out of booth 107, featuring low-height locomotives, personnel carriers, and specialty equipment, including self-propelled microdusters and fuel buffalos, at the Bluefield Coal Show in Bluefield, W. Va. The following week, from September 21-23, BROOKVILLE will feature narrow-gauge locomotives and personnel carriers from booth four at the Society of Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration (SME) Cutting Edge Urban Tunneling event in Denver.

October events will focus on surface transport, beginning with the Railway Interchange 2015 in Minneapolis from October 4-6. BROOKVILLE will exhibit CoGenerationTM multi-engine freight locomotives and single-engine locomotives for freight and commuter applications from booth 3058.

From October 25-28 BROOKVILLE will exhibit Liberty Modern Streetcars and heritage rebuild and replica streetcars from booth one at Rail-Volution in Dallas. Earlier in 2015, BROOKVILLE shipped the first two off-wire modern streetcars to operate in the United States to the City of Dallas and Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART). Conference attendees will have the opportunity to ride the Liberty Modern Streetcar throughout the event and get a first-hand look at the vehicle during revenue service and special off-site tours.

“We are eager to connect with our customers, suppliers, and other constituents for each industry we serve,” said Michael White, sales manager. “The Rail-Volution event, in particular, will allow cities and transit agencies considering new streetcar systems and expansions the opportunity to ride the new BROOKVILLE-built Liberty Modern Streetcars in Dallas and get a better understanding of the impact these off-wire capable vehicles can make in their respective cities.”
